P90X Exercise Program Review: Can You Lose Weight?

Many individuals have seen the infomercial for the P 90 X workout videos. Tony Horton, the P90x fitness instructor, promises to get you in the best shape of your life. From sweat- inducing, muscle pumping workouts in a matter of 90 days your body is going to be transformed from normal to ripped. This program is not aimed to the couch potato, but towards the person who’s already in average shape and wants to drive it to the next level. Tony has build a program that includes high- intensity cross training/circuit training. Various muscle groups are worked every day in a mixture that will not enable your body development to plateau. This program is separated into three phases. Every 30 days the workout timetable is changed and the intensity is raised.

Having explained this, you may be asking but will it work? I’ve found P90X to be a very good way to lose weight and get fit. I used to be extremely active. When I was in my ideal weight I enjoyed step aerobics, kickboxing and circuit training, but I desire to find a program that could tone my muscles too. I was not prepared to go to the health club and acquire a trainer. It was about this time that a friend of mine introduced me to P90X. I did a workout video with her and in the morning I felt the results. My body was in great cardio shape, nevertheless I promptly noticed that P90X is targeted toward toning and improving all parts of the body. My personal favorite workout is Cardio X. I did this 46 minute work out and I can really feel that my legs are on it’s to getting strengthened. Tony has you go over three hundred abdominal exercises in less than 15 minutes. This 90- day program includes twelve workouts. The workouts are 1. Chest& Back, 2. Plyometrics, 3. Shoulders and Arms, 4. Yoga, 5. Legs& Back, 6. Kenpo, 7. X Stretch, 8. Core Synergistics, 9. Chest, Shoulders, & Triceps, 10. Back& Biceps, 11. CardioX, 12. Ab RipperX. This at home workout also contains tools to keep you enthusiastic including a 3- Phase Nutrition Plan, a P90X Fitness Guide, a “How to Bring It” video, a P90x Calendar and free online support tools. With all of this help a person can achieve success with fat loss and getting into the best fit of their lives.
